At NWCC we believe that working with patients to achieve their goals includes rehabilitative exercises. Whether it is to improve abnormal posture, increase range of motion, restore function and strength in weak muscles or help improve to balance and performance specific exercises are imperative to achieve maximum and long term results. We are fortunate to have Veronica Perez AT/C in charge of our rehabilitation facility. She has a BA from Central Washington University and a MA from California Baptist University, and is a Certified Athletic Trainer. She evaluates each patient and recommends a specific rehabilitative exercise protocol for them. She then follows up to make sure the exercises are done properly and to chart progress.
Treatment of orthopedic and athletic injuries is imperative for proper healing and to decrease the chance of re-injury. Specific rehabilitation involving functional movement patterns, myofascial release, postural corrections, and acute injury care is a component of each patient’s treatment protocol. You will be taught exercises in the office that you can easily do at home so that you can maintain your health after your injury has resolved.
